Terms of Service

1. About WAT

WAT is a mobile application for discovering, sharing, and reviewing action sports tricks (skateboarding, snowboarding, parkour, surfing, and more). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WAT app ("Service").

By creating an account or using WAT, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use WAT. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.
• You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app.

4. Content You Create

Your Rights

You retain ownership of the content you submit (trick descriptions, edit suggestions, etc.). By submitting content to WAT, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and use your content within the Service.

Your Responsibilities

You agree not to submit content that:

• Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Contains false, misleading, or intentionally incorrect information
• Is offensive, hateful, or promotes violence
• Contains spam, advertising, or promotional material
• Violates any applicable law

Community Review

Content submitted to WAT goes through a community review process. Reviewers may approve, reject, or request changes to your submissions. Review decisions are made at the discretion of appointed reviewers and administrators.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or system resources
• Manipulate the review process (e.g., submitting fake content, abusing reviewer privileges)
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Circumvent any security measures or access controls

6. Reviewer Role

Reviewers are community members with additional privileges to approve or reject content submissions for specific sports. Reviewers agree to:

• Review content fairly and in good faith
• Only approve accurate and appropriate content
• Not abuse their privileges for personal benefit
• Follow the review guidelines provided by WAT

We reserve the right to revoke reviewer status at any time.

7. Content Moderation

We reserve the right to:

• Remove any content that violates these Terms
• Suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these Terms
• Modify or remove content for any reason at our discretion
• Appoint or remove reviewers at our discretion

8. Intellectual Property

The WAT app, its design, code, and branding are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

User-submitted trick descriptions and community content are licensed as described in Section 4.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

WAT is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Important safety notice: Action sports carry inherent risks. Trick descriptions on WAT are for informational purposes only. Always practice under proper supervision and with appropriate safety equipment. We are not responsible for injuries resulting from attempting tricks found on the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, we shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data or content
• Injuries resulting from attempting tricks described in the app
• Service interruptions or technical issues
• Actions of other users or reviewers

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination:

• Your profile and personal data will be deleted
• Content you contributed that has been approved may remain in the community
• Your display name may be preserved in review history for transparency

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Your continued use of WAT after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the Service and delete your account.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Switzerland.
